Day 2 of the 2014 LiveRez Partner Conference is in the books, and what a great day it was. The morning started with two very special guests: Boise Mayor David Bieter and Idaho Governor Butch Otter. It was such a pleasure to have both of them take the time of their busy schedules to come and talk to conference attendees and welcome them to Boise and the great state of Idaho.

Next, came the keynote speech from Olympic Gold Medalist Dick Fosbury. Fosbury forever changed the sport of high jumping by introducing a revolutionary new technique now known as the “Fosbury Flop.” During his speech, Fosbury talked about the process of developing his new technique, how he overcame early failure and turned doubters into believers. His inspiring speech took conference attendees behind the scenes of the 1968 Olympics, where Fosbury was a key member of one of the most dominant US Teams ever. It was during the 1968 Olympics that Fosbury’s flop technique gained widespread attention, when he won the Gold Medal breaking US and Olympics records in the process. His technique is now the standard method used by high jumpers worldwide.

After a full docket of educational sessions, it was time to announce new products! LiveRez technology leaders Brian Sevy and Casey Riley showed partners all the new technology they are working on, including a new mobile app for  housekeeping and maintenance, a real-time property status dashboard, a new tape chart (reservation grid), improved image management, responsive websites and much more. Then, they turned over the reins to LiveRez CEO Tracy Lotz and LiveRez Chief Strategy Officer Steve Trover, who introduced partners to LiveRez’s landmark project iVacationRental.com, the first major website that features only professionally managed and 100% real-time bookable inventory.

The day finished with an amazing reception at The Reef, a tiki-bar themed restaurant in downtown Boise.
